Workouts Plus — Privacy Policy
Effective June 19, 2026
The short version
Workouts Plus collects no data about you. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no servers of mine for your data to travel to. Your workouts live in your own iCloud Drive and on your devices — nowhere else.
Where your data lives
- Your iCloud Drive. Every split and workout is stored as a plain JSON file in your own iCloud Drive, inside the app's iCloud container. You can browse, export or delete these files yourself in the Files app at any time. They sync between your devices through Apple's infrastructure, never through mine. Workouts Plus needs iCloud to function.
- You stay in control. Because the data is yours, removing a workout in the app — or the file in the Files app — removes it everywhere it synced.
Apple Health
Workouts Plus uses Apple Health for one purpose: when you start a workout on your iPhone, it asks watchOS to launch the watch app and run a workout session, which is what keeps the app active on your wrist while you train. The app does not read your health information and does not use Health for analytics. You can grant or revoke this access at any time in the Settings app under Health.
Between your iPhone and Apple Watch
Your iPhone and Apple Watch exchange your splits and workout progress directly through Apple's device-to-device connectivity (WatchConnectivity). That traffic stays between your own devices and never touches the internet or any server of mine.
What I collect
Nothing. There are no tracking identifiers and no network connections to servers of mine, because I don't run any. Apple may share anonymous, aggregate App Store statistics with me (such as total download counts), which contain nothing about you.
