Moxie Weigh — Privacy Policy

The short version
Moxie Weigh collects no data about you. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no servers of mine for your data to travel to. Your measurements live in your own iCloud Drive and on your devices — nowhere else.
Where your data lives
- Your iCloud Drive. Every measurement is stored as a plain JSON file in your own iCloud Drive, inside the app's iCloud container. You can browse, export or delete these files yourself in the Files app at any time. They sync between your devices through Apple's infrastructure, never through mine. Moxie Weigh needs iCloud to function.
- You stay in control. Because the data is yours, removing a measurement in the app — or the file in the Files app — removes it everywhere it synced.
Your Bluetooth scale
Moxie Weigh connects directly to your Bluetooth smart scale to read each weigh-in (and body-composition values, when your scale provides them). That communication happens locally between your iPhone and your scale over Bluetooth; the readings are saved to your iCloud Drive and are never sent to a server of mine. Bluetooth access is used only to talk to your scale.
Apple Health
If you turn on Apple Health sync, Moxie Weigh writes your weigh-ins — weight, BMI, body fat, and lean mass — to the Health app on your device, and deletes them there when you delete them in the app. This is optional, off by default, and gated by Health permissions you control. Moxie Weigh only writes to Health; it does not read your Health data, and nothing about it ever reaches a server of mine.
What I collect
Nothing. There are no tracking identifiers and no network connections to servers of mine, because I don't run any. Apple may share anonymous, aggregate App Store statistics with me (such as total download counts), which contain nothing about you.
