Quick Recall — Privacy Policy

The short version
Quick Recall collects no data about you. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no servers of mine for your data to travel to. Your inventory — every crate, photo and note — lives in your own iCloud Drive and on your devices — nowhere else.
Where your data lives
- Your iCloud Drive. Every location, crate, item and photo is stored as a plain file in your own iCloud Drive, inside the app's iCloud container. You can browse, export or delete these files yourself in the Files app at any time. They sync between your devices through Apple's infrastructure, never through mine. Quick Recall needs iCloud to function.
- You stay in control. Because the data is yours, removing a crate or photo in the app — or the file in the Files app — removes it everywhere it synced.
Camera, photos and microphone
Quick Recall uses the camera to photograph what's inside your crates and to scan the QR labels it prints, and can record short videos of crate contents (which is why it may ask for microphone access). The photo library is read only when you choose pictures to attach and written only when you save a label image. Everything you capture or attach is saved to your own iCloud Drive — never to a server of mine.
Your label printer
When you print to a Bluetooth thermal label printer, Quick Recall talks to it directly over Bluetooth from your device. Label data goes to your printer and nowhere else; Bluetooth access is used only to find and print to label printers.
What I collect
Nothing. There are no tracking identifiers and no network connections to servers of mine, because I don't run any. Apple may share anonymous, aggregate App Store statistics with me (such as total download counts), which contain nothing about you.
