Meds in Hand — Privacy Policy

Effective August 15, 2026

The short version

Meds in Hand collects no data about you. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no servers of mine for your data to travel to. Your medication list, dose history and photos live in your own iCloud and on your devices — nowhere else.

Medication information lookups

The app's bundled medication library and safety information are built from public sources — RxNorm, DailyMed, openFDA and MedlinePlus. When you search for a medication or open its label, the app may query those public U.S. government services directly from your device. Those requests contain the medication name or identifier being looked up — never your identity, your medication list, or anything else about you — and they go straight to those services, not through any server of mine.

What I collect

Nothing. There are no tracking identifiers and no network connections to servers of mine, because I don't run any. Apple may share anonymous, aggregate App Store statistics with me (such as total download counts), which contain nothing about you.

Changes & contact

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions? Email [email protected].
