Lanework — Privacy Policy

The short version
Lanework collects no data about you. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no network services of mine for your data to travel to — Lanework doesn't talk to the internet at all. Every board lives as plain files on your own Mac, and I never see any of it.
Where your data lives
- Your own files. A board is a folder on
disk — a
.laneworkpackage containing a folder andindex.mdfile for every column and card. You choose where that folder lives: a local drive, your own iCloud Drive, Dropbox, a git repository, or anywhere else you keep files. Lanework only reads and writes inside the boards you open. - Sync, if you choose it. If you keep a board in iCloud Drive or Dropbox, syncing happens entirely through that provider's own infrastructure — never through a server of mine, because I don't run any. Choosing not to sync at all keeps a board strictly local to one Mac.
- You stay in control. Because the data is yours, you can open, edit, move, back up or delete a board's files yourself at any time, in Finder or any text editor — with or without Lanework running.
What I collect
Nothing. Lanework has no accounts, no analytics, and makes no network connections of any kind — there is nothing to send and nowhere for it to go. Apple may share anonymous, aggregate App Store statistics with me (such as total download counts), which contain nothing about you or your boards.
